Now in my thirties, I started my career at a bank, aged 18 looking after local businesses and High Net Worth clients and then after 3 years of gaining experience, I left the bank to become a Qualified Mortgage Broker when I was 21. I then worked for a number of years as the mortgage advisor in a busy corporate estate agency branch and won a number of awards in that company along the way. At age 30 though, I took the decision to work for myself with the Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) and that is where my relationship with Independent Estate Agency began and I also started to work with Dan and his team, at first in Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme and then subsequently in Poynton, amongst other offices. Over the next 5 years I went on to expand my business which became the Cheshire Mortgage Group with other advisors joining me and have enjoyed this role ever since and to today, where I am really excited to see where my relationship with Moore Homes takes me.
I have a lot of satisfaction when clients come back to me through every stage of their life from buying their first home, upsizing as their families grow and beyond, heading into retirement. I also like watching my portfolio landlords grow their wealth through Buy to Lets and expanding their businesses. I enjoy meeting new people and growing my network with a busy business and social diary which inevitably intertwines. In my spare time I love to mountaineer when I can and hiking too and I love live country music. I visit the USA as often as I can, which allows me to experience all of these at the same time. My main goals in life though are to have experiences! Not just to buy things :)
